早在十九世纪三十年代,主要的长石双晶已被人们认识。但直到本世纪三十年代,才逐渐注意到斜长石双晶律的产状问题,并开始与不同成因类型的岩石联系起来。牛来正夫(Gorai,1951),特纳(Turner,1951)和托毕(Tobi,1962)等人曾对各种斜长石双晶律在各类型岩石中的分布进行了深入研究,并提出通过斜长石双晶分布特征的研究来探索岩石成因问题。目前,斜长石双晶法不仅可以用来区分岩浆成因与变质成因问题,也开始广泛应用于变质相、岩相的对比等方面。本文即以实际工作中积累的簿片资枓为依据,采用双晶法,试分析辽西中生代火山岩斜长石双晶的分布规律及由它所提供的某些岩石成因信息。
