新疆少数民族大学生是我国一个特殊的英语学习群体,他们正式将英语作为一门课程来学的时间不长,许多大学生往往是出于应付考试或者仅仅是从未来就业需要等因素考虑被动学习英语。新疆高校少数民族学生在英语学习中具有较多优势,但由于多种因素的制约,他们在英语学习过程中仍然表现出诸多不足。新疆地区教育问题关系新疆地区经济和文化的发展,对国家的安全稳定和长治久安也有所影响,因此新疆地区大学生英语学习问题,值得社会各界尤其是教育工作者的深切关注。 Minority students in Xinjiang are a special English learning group in China. They formally take English as a course to study for a short period of time. Many college students often study English passively due to examinations or simply because of future employment needs. Minority students in Xinjiang colleges and universities have more advantages in English learning, but due to many factors, they still show many deficiencies in English learning. The Relationship Between Education in Xinjiang Region The economic and cultural development in Xinjiang also affects the country’s security, stability and long-term peace and stability. Therefore, the problem of English learning among college students in Xinjiang deserves our deep concern from all walks of life, especially educators.
