类固醇5α还原酶(SRD5A)分为1型和2型,它们均能催化类固醇激素产生活性代谢产物,并有相对特异的组织定位。多数研究表明,在激素相关肿瘤组织SRD5A表达和(或)活性升高。该基因变异与激素相关肿瘤关系密切,特别是A49T,V89L及3′UTR非翻译区的TA重复序列的多态性变异。目前其抑制剂已用于前列腺癌的预防和治疗。但其基因表达调控机制仍不清楚,需进一步研究。
Steroid 5α reductase (SRD5A) is divided into type 1 and type 2, they can catalyze the production of active metabolites of steroid hormone, and a relatively specific tissue location. Most studies show that SRD5A expression and / or activity is elevated in hormone-related tumor tissues. This gene mutation is closely related to hormone-related tumors, especially the TA polymorphism of A49T, V89L and 3’UTR untranslated regions. At present, its inhibitors have been used in the prevention and treatment of prostate cancer. However, the mechanism of gene expression regulation remains unclear and needs further study.
