Canada’s manufacturing production statistics mainly investigate the contents of shipments, inventory, and order value. The survey is a monthly sample survey conducted by the Industry Statistics Division of the Central Bureau of Statistics of Canada. The overall goal of the survey is all Canadian manufacturing establishments classified by the 1980 Standard Industry Classification. General survey of manufacturing bases limited to data available in recent Canadian manufacturing surveys
