INTRODUCTION The lubrication mechanism when using liquid as a lubricant in plastic processing is influenced by such factors as the material of the material to be processed, the initial surface condition, the deformation characteristics, the properties of the lubricating oil, the mode of oil supply, and the processing conditions. Liquid lubrication is achieved by the lubricant enclosed between the tool and the material being processed. In the early stages of processing, the amount of blocked lubricant varies depending on the mechanical properties of the material being processed, the initial surface condition, the characteristics of the lubricant (especially the accuracy) and the way it is supplied and the speed of the processing.
