回顾钱海源超过半个世纪的艺术生涯,大致可分为两个时期:20世纪80年代中期之前,主要以专业创作为主,完成了一些像《长征路上的三代人》《赤卫队员头像》这样的革命现实主义题材作品,以及《母亲》《男青年》《女青年》等写实风格的肖像习作。特别是《母亲》,细细的皱纹刻画,既是对辛劳一生的母亲的歌颂,也描绘出游子对母亲的思念之情,与那个年代著名的《父亲》油画有着异曲同工之妙;并兼有一些水彩、油画、彩墨、素描等绘画作品,主要是艺术造型表达的本体领域,以纯技艺的自我修为和精进为目的,呈现出一个专业艺术家的学习成长和自发创作与自我发展的过程。
After reviewing Qian Haiyuan’s artistic career over half a century, it can be roughly divided into two periods: before the mid-1980s, mainly focusing on professional creation, some works like “Three generations on the Long March”, “Red Guard portrait” Such revolutionary realist themes work as well as portraits of realistic portraits such as Mother, Young Men and Young Women. In particular, the “mother” and the fine wrinkle portrayal not only praise the mother who worked hard for a long time, but also portray the love of the tourist for her mother, which is similar to that of the famous “Father” oil painting of that era. Drawing works of watercolor, oil painting, colorful ink and sketches are mainly the ontological areas of artistic expression. With the purpose of self-cultivation and refinement of pure art, a professional artist’s learning growth, spontaneous creation and self-development are presented.
