据资料显示:我国目前有近4700万“三资”、私营企业职工以及城镇个体劳动者。这些劳动大军中,参加社会保险统筹的不足100万人。这意味着,全国“三资”、私营企业以及广大城镇的个体劳动者参加社会保险统筹的只占2.1％多些,尚有97％未参加社会保险。特别是那些在“三资”、私营企业中打工的“打工一族”,他们最关心、最渴望的是什么呢?据笔者调查,七成以上的“打工仔”最关心的是自己的合法权益能否得到足够的保障。他们有三渴望:
According to statistics, there are currently nearly 47 million “three-owned” funds in China, private-owned workers and urban laborers. Of these labor forces, less than 1 million people participate in social security co-ordination. This means that only 2.1% of the individual workers in the “three sources”, private enterprises and the vast majority of cities and towns in the whole country participate in the social insurance co-ordination, while 97% do not participate in social insurance.
