承插式钢筋混凝土管已在给水工程中普遍应用。这种管子,采用橡胶圈接口,工作压力为4～12公斤/厘米~2,口径φ100～φ1600,制造方法有一阶段法、三阶段法和自应力法。钢筋混凝土管不能直接与闸阀、弯头、三通、大小头等管件连接,必需用一种特制的接头。此外,不能任意截断,必须用铸铁管或钢管进行调节,这时也需要特制接头。1976年12月,我公司设计了一种新式的特制接头,如图1、图2所示,经实际应用,效果良好。新接头的特点是充分利用两种材质的管道接口处的空间,采用合理的型式,使接头尺寸变得很小。φ800接头乙新旧型式比较见下表:
