私家车普及深刻地影响了现代西方城市的形态与社会结构。为了个人出行的便利,城市已经付出了太多昂贵的代价。因为西方经济的增长和健康发展仍然倚重于汽车及其相关产业,如果在发展方向上不作根本性改变的话,汽车依赖型的城市就会由此产生。现在,中国为了确立其在世界上经济强国的地位,汽车工业已经被指定为国家支柱产业。中国汽车工业的发展前景确实一片光明。未来的10～15年内,估计有130 000 000个中国家庭会购买汽车。本文将阐述中国普及私家车将引发的短期和长期的问题。
The popularity of private cars has profoundly affected the shape and social structure of modern western cities. For the convenience of personal travel, the city has paid too much price. Because the growth and healthy development of the western economy still rely heavily on the automobile and its related industries, a car-dependent city will emerge if it is not fundamentally changed in the direction of development. Now, in order to establish its status as an economic powerhouse in the world, China’s auto industry has been designated as a national pillar industry. The development prospect of China’s auto industry is indeed bright. In the next 10 to 15 years, an estimated 130 million Chinese families will buy cars. This article explains the short-term and long-term issues that China will popularize private cars.
