高重复频率窄脉宽LGS电光调Q Nd∶YVO_4激光器

报道了一种激光二极管(LD)端面连续抽运的高重复率电光调QNd:YVO4激光器。采用新型电光晶体La3Ga5SiO14(LGS)作为调Q元件,并设计高效稳定谐振腔,实现了最高30kHz的高重复率电光调Q运转。使用透射率为50%的输出镜,在5kHz重复率运转时,获得了单脉冲能量0.4mJ,脉宽6.3ns的脉冲序列输出;当重复率达30kHz时,得到的单脉冲能量为0.2mJ,脉宽9.1ns,最大平均功率6.2W,斜率效率为32.7%,调Q动静比达83%,光束传输因子M2<2。实验结果表明,该激光器输出功率并没有出现饱和现象,具有进一步提升的空间。 A high repetition rate electro-optic QNd: YVO4 laser with continuous laser diode (LD) end face pumping is reported. The new electro-optic crystal La3Ga5SiO14 (LGS) is used as a Q-adjusting element, and an efficient and stable resonant cavity is designed to realize the high repetition rate electro-optical Q-switching operation up to 30kHz. When the repetition rate is up to 30kHz, the pulse energy of single pulse is 0.2mJ, the pulse energy is 0.4mJ and the pulse width is 6.3ns. The pulse width is 9.1ns, the maximum average power is 6.2W, the slope efficiency is 32.7%, the Q-to-Q ratio is 83% and the beam transmission factor is M2 <2. Experimental results show that the laser output power does not appear saturated phenomenon, with further room for improvement.
