过去用静态浇注轴瓦鎢金的办法,有一系列的缺点,尤中主要的是在浇注过程中产生许多气泡和蜂窝,浇注后的钨金组织松软不密实,因而浇注后需要压实或在车床上滚压;此外,静态浇注浪费钨金多,即预留的冷加工余量大,浇口和浇注耗料多等。离心浇注法和静态浇注法相比是极好的方法。离心浇注法的原理图如图(a)所示。被浇注的轴瓦在浇注前的一些准备工作和静态浇注时的要求一样,即将旧钨金从瓦胎内熔化掉,清除瓦胎上的油垢,酸洗,挂锡衬等等。
