阳岗大木(Rhus verniciflua Stokes.cv.Yanggangdamu)为坝漆的代表品种。目前,利川县有阳岗大木资源616万株,已开割的中、壮龄树50万株,仅占总株数的8.1％;未开割的幼龄树566万株(包括近年推广栽培的在内),占总株数的91.9％。全县年产生漆1600余担,接近历史最高年水平,其中阳岗大木的漆汁要占年总产量的50％
