To investigate the effect of sex hormones on experimental liver cancer in rats, a DEN-AAF-PH liver cancer animal model was reproduced. From the morphometric point of view. The effects of estradiol, testosterone, and castration on experimental liver cancer in mice were observed. The results showed that male rats had more precancerous proliferative nodules than females, and the volume was large (P<0.01). Estradiol could reduce the number of knots and reduce the volume. Testosterone is the opposite; testicular resection can reduce precancerous lesions. Ovariectomy can increase the extent of precancerous proliferative nodules. Sex hormones play an important role in the development of murine liver cancer.
