In this paper, 42 patients with chronic sinusitis were examined by electroencephalography (EEG), cerebral blood flow (REG), and otolaryngology, ophthalmology and neurology. The results show that these patients have a headache, which is related to trigeminal nerve stimulation. The results of EEG and REG in most patients may show that it is also associated with neuroreflexia and vascular responses in the central nervous system. The authors speculate that the pathological impulses that enter the brain stem from inflammatory lesions through the trigeminal nerve cause changes within the nonspecific structures of the limbicorticular complex and result in increased cerebral blood flow, increased tension, and venous return disorders, resulting in increased intracranial pressure And headache.
