The US Army Center for Materials and Mechanics compiled 35 articles in four major areas that characterize composite materials (AD-A1167 33 / NAA) in order to establish a method for predicting the properties of composite materials. The first part is related to monitoring the cure cycle of the fiber-reinforced epoxy resin. In addition to the articles on the contemporary developments of acoustic emission and microelectronics disciplines, a few general techniques are introduced as well as an overview of the computer-to-process interaction system for composite autoclave fabrication.
