1983~1985年以我省当前广为种植的5个小麦品种为材料,观察了地上部分伸长节间的大、小维管束数目和面积以及它们与单穗粒数的关系。按品种分小区种植在我院教学实验农场中、上等栽培条件。盛花期选取同天开花且株高、穗子大小相对一致的单茎标记后于灌浆中期取其中具五个伸长节间单茎为观测材料。在每一节间下端距节部2厘米处制作徒手切片,显微镜下计数横截面大、小维管束数,又借助测微尺最其纵横两个方向最大直径(a、b),按椭园形横截面积计算单个维管束横截面积。
