本文利用三千年来历史地震及近二十年来强震前形变资料,以鄂尔多斯地块周边地区为样本进行空间扫描及转移概率统计,发现地震在时、空、强方面存在明显的波浪特征,并观察到地壳纵、横波的传递,迭加,干涉是地震发生的主要原因。其机理是:被不同断裂切割的块状地壳互相简支,各地块三维弹性应变是地壳波浪运动的形成原因。中国存在着以地中海波浪为主和以环太波浪为次的两个波系,二者的消长,就引起了中国地震波浪状的发展总过程。
