数学符号是数学科学的本质特征。在教学实践中,把数学符号感的培养作为加强中学数学教学的一个重要内容,需要让学生理解数学符号的意义,掌握数学符号的本质特征。具体措施为,培养学生自然语言和数学语言之间转换的能力,通过具体事例来激活学生的符号经验基础;讲清特定的数学符号的由来及所代表的意义;鼓励学生探究符号代表事物的实质。
Mathematical symbols are the essential characteristics of mathematical science. In teaching practice, to cultivate the sense of mathematical symbols as an important content to strengthen the teaching of mathematics in middle schools, students need to understand the meaning of mathematical symbols and grasp the essential characteristics of mathematical symbols. The specific measures are to cultivate the ability of students to switch between natural language and mathematical language, activate students’ experience base of symbols through concrete examples, clarify the origin and meaning of certain mathematical symbols, and encourage students to explore the essence of symbols .
