本文主要介绍用激光进行切割加工的特点,采用这种新技术进行自行车薄壁管村切割的技术条件,以及相应激光器与激光功率的选择;可能的加工能力、激光切割加工的成本,并与现有双头专用管材铣床加工成本进行比较;说明采用激光进行自行车管材特别是薄壁合金管村的高速激光切割,不但技术上是可行的,而且生产效率高、加工质量好、生产成本并不比采用专用双头铣床加工成本高。但采用这一新技术,一次性投资比例大,而且技术涉及面宽,整体开发工作量大,特别是如何压缩自动装夹管材时间、选择优质长寿命激光器是成功应用这一技术、降低成本、提高工效的关键。
