本文从叙述模式、隐喻和比喻、语言的优美性等方面来探讨《北极梦》自然写作之艺术技巧,探索《北极梦》著作中所蕴含的丰富生态思想,并探索其深刻文化根源.洛佩兹崇尚生态整体观,对大地有着深深的依恋,认为人与动物具有互通性;而且,他从荒野的角度探讨北极荒野的道德和美学价值,大力赞赏荒野,用细腻美丽的语言描绘北极“如诗如画”的美景.洛佩兹认为,人类应当对地球万物怀有感激之情,仰望北极,对地球抱有谦恭的姿态.
