This paper introduces a bridge CAD system which takes the bridge basic component as the object of system editing and processing. This system will be different from the previous CAD software which is based on the general concept. The bridge CAD system allows users to directly face is familiar with the basic components of the bridge such as beams, bearings, piers and beams and so on. Engineers can use this system to directly select the type of bridge itself that is suitable for the design of the bridge itself.
