In the first half of the twentieth century, when Margaret Mitchell knocked off the famous phrase with an old typewriter: “When Atlanta talks, the world listens,” the city of Atlanta And “floating” the book closely linked together. Atlanta is located in the northern part of Georgia. In 1837 it was just a landmark of railway surveyors in pine forests. A few years later, the landmark quickly developed into an important center of rail transport and commerce in the southern United States. But this emerging city was quickly destroyed by the fighting during the Civil War. Since then, Atlanta took over a hundred years to rebuild itself into the largest city in the southeastern United States and the seat of the state government of Georgia, including big companies such as Coca Cola, CNN, Lockheed, UPS Express, Holiday Inn and South Bell Headquarters are located here.
