大豆是世界上重要的经济粮食作物,起源于我国黄淮海地区,是典型的短日照作物。通常,当高纬度地区大豆品种引种到低纬度区域时,由于其对光周期极其敏感,成熟期大大提前,导致大豆植株生物量和产量降低,这极大程度限制了低纬度地区的大豆种植。大豆长童期(Long Juvenile,LJ)性状在上世纪70年代被发现,并成功应用于低纬度地区大豆育种。LJ性状的导入,突破了大豆在低纬度地区产量极低的限制,使大 Soybean is an important economic food crop in the world.
