I. INTRODUCTION Stress corrosion cracking is sensitive and fatigue strength is low, which is the two major problems in high-strength aluminum alloy applications. Low stress rupture caused by stress corrosion often leads to disastrous consequences. Although over-aging treatment can significantly improve the stress corrosion susceptibility, but also make the strength of the alloy than the aging peak state decreased, therefore, can not give full play to the performance potential of the material.
