中国艺术研究院美术研究所作为中国美术研究的最高机构,一直密切关注在日本的中国美术家的创作动向,并希望能够把他们的创作实践与理论思考的实态介绍给国内美术界。不久前,中国艺术研究院美术研究所所长、《美术观察》杂志社主编兼社长邓福星先生委托正在日本进行研究考察的该所副研究员、美术史学者牛克诚先生和东京艺术大学客座研究员、画家柯良先生共同筹划组织一次研讨会,目的在于以学术研讨会的方式而把活跃在日本的中国美术家们召集在一起,以期互相激励、加深理论思考,形成一种创作实力。日本国际艺术交流协会也赞许这一计划。于是,由这两个单位共同主办的首届中国艺术与世界艺术研讨会于1996年11月2日在东京都中心神谷町森大厦举行了《东京·首届中国艺术与世界艺术研讨会》。
As the supreme body of Chinese art research, the Institute of Fine Arts of China Academy of Art has been keeping a close eye on the creative trends of Chinese artists in Japan and hopes to introduce the realities of their creative practice and theoretical thinking to the domestic art community. Not long ago, the Institute of Fine Arts, Chinese Academy of Arts Research Institute, “Art Watch” magazine editor and director Mr. Deng Fuxing commissioned in Japan is the study and research associate researcher, art historian Niu Kecheng and visiting professor at the Tokyo University of the Arts, Mr. Ko Liang, a painter, co-organizes and organizes a seminar aiming to bring together Chinese artists active in Japan in the form of academic seminars in order to inspire each other and deepen theoretical thinking so as to create a kind of creative power. Japan International Art Exchange Association also praised the plan. As a result, the first China Art and World Arts Symposium co-hosted by the two organizations held the “Tokyo · The First Chinese Art and World Art Symposium” on November 2, 1996 at Mori Tower, Kamiya-cho, Tokyo Metropolitan.
