An epidemiological cross-sectional survey of blood pressure, blood lipids and electrocardiogram was performed on 99 long-term exposure to low-concentration carbon disulfide (C S2) workers and 28 non-C S2 workers in a chemical fiber plant. The results showed that there was no significant difference in diastolic pressure and compression pressure between the exposed group and the control group. The concentration of lipoprotein (a) [Lp (a)] in the exposed group was significantly higher than that in the control group, while the other lipids did not show significant difference. The risk of ECG abnormalities was 1 1 times the control group, but no significant difference. It is suggested that Lp (a) may be used as a sensitive indicator of C 2 C 2 toxicity in cardiovascular system.
