北京图书馆普通古籍自然科学门藏书中,收藏有大量清代,民国历书和少量明代历书等。这批历书从不同的侧面反映了当时社会的政治、经济和民俗等情况。其中不乏罕见、稀传者。如《大清祺祥元年岁次壬戌时宪书》,(清)钦天监编,清咸丰十一年辛酉(1861)硃墨刻本,1册,冠朱印1页。当年8月22日,清咸丰皇帝病死于热河行宫。怡亲王载垣等八人受遗命总摄朝政,辅佐年幼的皇太子载淳掌国,定明年改元祺祥。载淳生母慈
