泡桐为我国最重要的速生造林树种之一,自古以来就广泛用作乐器、箱柜、雕刻等材料,经验证明效果甚佳;但是有些至今尚盛行流传的所谓经验和记载,则显然与事实不符或欠确切。本文试图通过对泡桐属木材的解剖、材性和用途等项的系统的试验研究,比较全面地为生产提供科学试验数据;阐明原理,辨明真伪;并根据泡桐材的性质提出恰当的用途,以符合合理用材的原则。
Paulownia is one of the most important fast-growing afforestation species in our country.
