From the future micro-computer should have a high magnetic memory storage density requirements, discussed the future development of magnetic storage materials. And pointed out that the most promising material is to follow the traditional mode of longitudinal recording of thin film magnetic media and a new type of magneto-optical memory film. How to achieve this ultra-high density of magnetic and magneto-optical storage, the article also discusses the problems to be solved and the related information storage and readout technology.
