当前工业上生产乙醇的主要方法之一,就是在浓硫酸存在下,使乙烯与水起加成反应而制得的。通常叫做“乙烯水化法”。 由于工业上常采用在加压(10—15个大气压)下进行的方法,中等学校的实验室一般不具备这样的条件,而不能做演示实验。
One of the main methods currently used to produce ethanol in the industry is the addition of ethylene to water in the presence of concentrated sulfuric acid. Usually called “vinyl hydration method.” As the industry often uses methods that are performed under pressure (10-15 atmospheres), secondary school laboratories generally do not have such conditions and cannot perform demonstration experiments.
