抗日战争时期,文艺“民族形式”运动在“民族化”的文化要求和背景下展开。相应地,对欧化的五四新文艺展开重新评价,形成文艺“民族形式”论争的主要焦点之一。论争的主要根源在于中国文学现代化与民族化的先天紧张与悖论;论争的实质是对中国文学现代化道路进行重新选择,目的是在悖论中寻求张力,开拓中国文艺现代化新的方向和道路。
During the period of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, the movement of literature and art “national forms ” started under the cultural requirements and background of “nationalization ”. Accordingly, one of the major focuses of the controversy over the “May Fourth Movement” of literature and art has been the reevaluation of the Europeanized May Fourth new literature and art. The main reason of the controversy lies in the innate tension and paradox of the modernization and nationalization of Chinese literature. The essence of the debate is to re-select the path of Chinese literature modernization with the purpose of seeking tension in the paradox and opening up new directions and paths for the modernization of Chinese literature and art.
