我厂失蜡精密铸造需要的钢料,原来是靠一台容量为15公斤(后改为30公斤) 的单相电弧炉熔炼,由于这种炉子熔炼的金属质量差,而且噪音很大,所用的石墨电极供应又很困难,因此给生产带来很大影响,为了解决这个问题,我们学习了戚墅堰机车车辆工艺研究所试制的等离子熔炼炉经验,在领导大力支持下,发动群众,自力更生,利用废料着手试制此炉经过半年努力,初获成功。
The steel material needed for waxless precision casting in our factory was originally smelted by a single-phase electric arc furnace with a capacity of 15 kg (later changed to 30 kg). Because the quality of the metal smelted by this furnace is poor and the noise is high, it is used. The supply of graphite electrodes is very difficult, so it has a great impact on production. In order to solve this problem, we learned the experience of the plasma melting furnace trial-produced by the Qishuyan Locomotive and Rolling Stock Research Institute, and with the strong support of the leaders, we mobilized the masses and made self-reliance and use. The waste began trial production. After six months of efforts, the furnace was successfully established.
