现代舞是人类进入工业社会的文化产物,近年来现代舞不断走向春天,已发展成为遍布五大洲的世界性舞蹈艺术,当前随着社会的不断的进步,现代舞在中国这块古老的东方土地上迅速崛起绽放。现代舞也是现代派舞蹈的简称,是20世纪初在现代派哲学和现代主义文艺思潮影响下发展起来的一个新的舞种,它摆脱古典芭蕾的程式与束缚,以自然的舞蹈动作、自由地表现思想情感和生活理念。
