一个好的信息系统,应该能够快速、准确、方便地进行信息的录入,合理、安全、无冗余地组织信息的存贮,并为用户提供清晰、实用的信息输出。目前,微型电脑特别是在企业管理方面发挥了极大的作用。但是,由于在企业管理信息系统中普遍存在着需存贮的数据量大(每年可达几十兆字节)的问题,给微型电脑在企业管理上的应用带来困难。为此,我们考虑到,如果能在机器提供的数据存储方式下采用压缩的数字存储技术,可节省将近一半的容量,大大提高机器的存储能力。对此,我们进行了初步的探讨,并在机器上给以实现了。我们使用的是 VICTOR9000微型电脑,其内存128K(可扩展到256K),使用5时单面双密度软盘两个,
