在地理教学中,地图既是知识的载体,同时又是学习地理知识必不可少的工具,素有地理的“第二语言”之称。地图以地理独特的符号表达了各种地理信息,不仅直观、形象,而且所蕴含的地理知识十分丰富。1992的《地理教育国际宪章》鲜明地指出,“应把地图的应用列为培养学生技能的主体要求”。因此,地图的学习与运用,是开展有效地理课堂的关键,是地理教学的“魂”。
In geography teaching, the map is not only a carrier of knowledge, but also an indispensable tool for learning geography knowledge, known as geography “second language ”. Geographical map with unique geographical symbols to express a variety of geographic information, not only intuitive, image, but also contains rich geographical knowledge. The 1992 “International Charter of Geographic Education” clearly states that “the application of maps should be listed as the main requirement for developing students’ skills.” Therefore, the study and application of the map is the key to carrying out the effective geography classroom and the “soul” of geography teaching.
