The uniformity and stability of layered silicates dispersed in rubber nanocomposites have a very important effect on the final properties of the compounds. In this paper, a simple and easy-to-use industrialized method is proposed to prepare highly dispersed montmorillonite (MMT) / rubber nanocomposites by emulsion blending.
