四川省委提出“振兴川剧”已历整整10个年头。10年来,在经济大潮的冲击下,在与影视艺术的竞争中,练就了一支富有事业心和创造性的川剧队伍。遵循“抢救、继承、改革、发展”的八字方针,川剧艺术家们承先启后,继往开来,矢志弘扬优秀民族文化。1992年5月在成都举行的第六届振兴川剧会演(第一轮),集中展示了10年振兴的丰硕成果。观众上座踊跃,有口皆碑,不少演出还开放楼厢,不断爆发满堂掌声。笔者亲躬其盛,略述观感,以见一斑:贴近民众俗则兴川剧扎根巴山蜀水,渗透着四川人民在政治经济、伦理道德、风俗习惯、宗教信仰以及语言表达方式等方面的思想感情和审美观念,具有一种不同于其它兄弟剧种的艺术个性。川剧艺术家们注意到川剧作为地域文化的这一特点,无论编演现代戏或古代故事剧,皆在“俗”字上做足文章,俗中见雅,雅中还俗,不仅浸润着浓郁的巴蜀风情,而且悉心感受和适
