钢料表面硬化的方法很多,如滲碳法、氮化法、及液體氰化法等,都是我們很熟知的。但本文所述的碳氮共滲法(Cartonitriding),却是一種比較新的表面硬化法。它乃是将钢料放入適當成份的氨与碳化氢(Hydrocarbons)之混合氣氛中加熱,使其表面同時吸收碳與氮,然后以某種冷却速度冷却之,以得到所需的硬度。經硬化後之钢料表面,其性質与用液體氰化法硬化後之表面颇相似;
There are many ways to harden steel, such as carburizing, nitriding, and liquid cyanidation, all of which are well known to us. However, the carbonitriding described in this article (Cartonitriding), but it is a relatively new method of surface hardening. It is the steel material is placed in the appropriate composition of ammonia and hydrogen hydrocarbon (Hydrocarbons) mixed atmosphere heated so that its surface simultaneously absorbs carbon and nitrogen, and then cooled at a cooling rate to obtain the desired hardness.
