“海藻反甘草”属中药“十八反”范畴,历来一直被视为配伍用药禁忌。就《中国药典》1985年版(一部258页、180页)规定海藻,昆布都不宜与甘草同用,1990年版(一部262页)只规定海藻不宜与甘草同用,昆布又无此规定,前后即有存弃之不同。可是在古代方书中的昆布散、内消瘰疠丸,海藻玉壶汤等,都有海藻与甘草同用。李时珍曾云:“东垣治瘰疬马刀,散肿溃坚汤,海藻甘草两用之。盖坚积之病,非平和之药所能取捷,必令反夺以成其功也。”说明两药虽属“禁区”,但也并非是
