本文利用协整理论、误差修正模型和Granger因果性检验等计量方法对1978—2009年中国教育投入与GDP之间的年度数据进行了实证研究。研究表明,教育投入对GDP的弹性系数为0.0879;教育投入与经济发展之间不存在Granger因果关系,并对上述结论给予了一定程度的经济学解释,得出增加教育投入会对经济增长带来积极作用的结论。
In this paper, the co-integration theory, error correction model and Granger causality test and other measurement methods were used to empirically study the annual data of China’s education investment and GDP between 1978-2009. The research shows that the elasticity coefficient of education input to GDP is 0.0879. There is no Granger causality between education investment and economic development, and a certain degree of economic explanation is given to the above conclusion. The conclusion is that increasing investment in education brings about economic growth The positive effect of the conclusion.
