Photographer Wu Jialin said a passage: In the autumn of 1996, Mark Riboud’s “40 Years of China” was exhibited at the National Art Museum of China. At that time, Master Ma was the only Chinese international photographer who could deliver his word. Less curious to see frequently. The scene has a show of the French old man, gray hair, shirtless, while a few show lines, while adjusting the photos, up and down non-stop, Master Ma respectful of this old man, some people quite puzzled: so A big master, polite to a laborer, is it necessary? Later I learned that this laborer named Robert Delpire (French, 1926-).
