On January 18, 1955, the three armed forces of our armed forces, navy and naval forces collaborated to liberate one of the Jiangshan islands occupied by the Kuomintang army. This is the only syndicate of our armed forces in the history of our armed forces that has achieved brilliant results and occupies a unique position in the history of our military. At that time, I was the chief engineer officer of a convoy of the East China Sea Naval Wing Station. As a result of a prominent record in a naval battle in 1951, the ship was named as a “head-capped sea heroic boat” by the East China Military Region. Together with other brothers and warships, this boat was ordered to take part in the liberation of a mountain and island battle and to establish a third class in this battle. This battle has also become an unforgettable blessing in my life (I later served as the third captain of the boat). This year is the 44th anniversary of the liberation of a country where mountains and rivers are going to fight. The attempt is to put the personal experience, what they see and hear, and organize them into articles for readers to read.
