近三十年来,随着合成有机试剂的不断发展,显色剂的种类与日俱增。由于有机显色剂具有灵敏度高、选择性好、对比度大等特点,因而显色剂的研究和应用在比色分析的领域中十分活跃。特别是变色酸的双偶氮衍生物具有较大的有效生色面积,共轭体系改变了,其络合物的红移现象更为显著,摩尔吸光率更高,更被有机合成和分析工作者所关注。除了已广泛应用的偶氮硝羧、偶氮氯膦Ⅲ之外,氯磺酚S(Sulphochlorophenol S)也是一种优良的显色剂,今对其合成、性状和应用作一扼要的介绍。
