镓是具有重要用途的稀散金属。攀枝花地区共生铁矿含镓,但直接从矿石或攀钢高炉铁水中提取镓,其镓的品位太低。攀钢雾化提钒的钒渣中含镓约0.015%~0.02%,已高于世界生产镓主要原料铝钒土的含镓量。 我们进行的研究包括两部分:一是试通过攀钢铁水的氯化处理提取镓;二是试通过钒渣的氯化焙烧、或通过浸钒渣的氯化焙烧或熔融还原或浸取,来提取镓。以上工艺均将镓作为生产钒的副产品,试图开辟出生产镓的新途径并降低镓的生产成本。
Gallium is an important use of scattered metals.
