西柏林给水厂原水预处理设备采用了一种新型的上旋式沉淀池,这种型式沉淀池的进水是从池底部沿切线方向进入池内,然后旋流上升,清水在池顶中心溢流入中心竖管从池底引出池外,污泥聚集在池底中央竖管的周围,由排泥管排出池外。大量的试验表明,当采用常规的沉淀池时,通常由于污泥面上升,粘稠的浓缩污泥会很快地将进水口及排泥口堵塞,需要经常进行人工清洗。采用这种上旋式给水沉淀池,由于水流按切线方向进入池内,并在池内进行旋流循环,从而避免了上述弊病。上旋式沉淀池的工艺简图如下图所示。采用此种型式的
A new type of upswept sedimentation tank was used for the raw water pretreatment equipment of West Berlin Water Supply Plant. The water in this type of sedimentation tank enters the pool along the tangent direction from the bottom of the tank, and then the swirl flow rises, and the clean water overflows into the center of the pool top. The center riser leads out of the pool from the bottom of the tank, and the sludge collects around the central riser at the bottom of the tank and is discharged from the tank by the mud discharge pipe. A large number of tests have shown that when a conventional settling tank is used, usually the thickened sludge thickens the inlet and discharge ports due to the rise of the sludge surface, requiring frequent manual cleaning. With this type of upward-sweeping water supply sedimentation tank, the disadvantages mentioned above are avoided because the water flow enters the tank in a tangential direction and is swirled and circulated in the tank. The schematic diagram of the process for the upward swirling sedimentation tank is shown in the figure below. Use this type of
