由机械部天津工程机械研究所和石油物探局徐水特种车辆厂共同研制开发的LTY7.5型沥青混凝土摊铺机（见图1）,具有全液压行走及供料驱动、机电液一体控制、自动调平工作装置及独特的电加热系统等结构特点,是机械化修筑公路不可缺少的施工机械之一。它可广泛用于各级公路、市政道路、飞机场及其公共设施场地的施工作业,尤其是该机配备自动调平装置,是修筑高等级公路的理想设备。该机同时可用于高等级公路的稳定基层的摊铺作业,可一次完成沥青混凝土或稳定土的摊铺、捣实和熨平三道工序,形成具有一定密实度、一定厚度、宽度和拱度的平整路面,达到道路断面设计的要求。
