由于国内轿车市场竞争异常激烈,十大轿车厂家中的一些厂家今年前5个月销售增幅明显降低,库存明显增加,呈现出严重的产能过剩态势。2003年全国生产轿车201.89万辆,销售197.16万辆,库存4万多辆,其中十大轿车厂家库存只有2724辆。今年则大不相同,前5个月全国轿车产量103.05万辆,销量96.73万辆,库存6.32万辆。十大轿车厂家库存达到39274辆,5月当月就新增库存25896辆。两相比较,上月新增库存达去年全年库存的9.5倍。根据中国汽车工业协会的统计,今年前5个月,产销量居于全国前十位的国内主要轿车企业,新增了一汽轿车股份有限公司,排名第十。前九名依次是上海大众、一汽大众、上海通用、广州本田、天津一汽夏利、长安汽车、北京现代、奇瑞汽车和神龙汽车。去年年底排名第九的风神汽车公司被挤出十大之外。与去年全年十大轿车厂家的市场表现相比,今年十大轿车厂家无论在市场占有率、产销率方面,均有所倒退。十大轿车厂家中,一半厂家产销继续高速增长,另一半就并非如此,真可谓几家欢喜几家愁。由于国内越来越多的汽车企业进入轿车领域,十大轿车厂家的市场份额明显缩小。2003年十大轿车厂家产量占全国轿车产量的78.8%,销量
