The symposium on the survival and development of the national provincial-level literature periodical sponsored by Guangxi Literature Magazine started on November 25, 1996 in Chongzuo County, Guangxi Province, and ended on December 1 in Nanning. A week-long seminar, earnestly studying and implementing the spirit of the Resolution of the 6th Plenary Session of the 14th Central Committee, and conducting a study on the serious issue of the survival and development of Chinese provincial literary journals.
