This is a eulogy emanating from Steve Jobs’ own sibling Mona Simpson at the funeral of Steve Jobs, giving us a life-long job that is perfect for everybody. Brother and sister recognize that I grew up in a single-parent family, dependent on the mother. Since I was poor at home and I knew my father was a Syrian immigrant, I always imagined him as Omar Sharif. I hope he is rich and will one day come into our lives (and our four-bedroom apartment) and help us. Later, when I met my father, I tried to believe that he had changed his telephone number and did not leave a mailing address because he was an idealistic revolutionary and wanted to plan a new world for the Arab people.
