广州军区某特战旅连长刘珪,是我军新时期涌现出来的练兵群体中的杰出代表。他身上具有“当兵打仗、练兵打仗、带兵打仗”的鲜明时代特色,成为我军今年第一个推向全国的重大典型。《战士报》对刘珪的宣传浓墨重彩,且早于中央媒体启动,成为改革开放以来报道规模最大、力度最强的一次先进典型宣传,在军内外产生了强烈的反响,形成了强烈的“刘珪效应”。这是《战士报》采用“三D”模式宣传重大典型宣传的一次成功尝试。
